We are seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to lead global supply chain strategy and operations across our biopharmaceutical ecosystem. This executive will oversee procurement, manufacturing coordination, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and supply chain compliance, ensuring alignment with both operational and regulatory requirements.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the VP of Supply Chain will play a pivotal role in enabling growth, ensuring supply continuity, and driving operational excellence across a highly complex and regulated environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with product pipelines, regulatory requirements, and market demand.

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, manufacturing planning, inventory management, and global distribution.

• Lead supply chain transformation initiatives focused on digital integration, AI-driven forecasting, and real-time supply chain visibility.

• Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, GMP, and other global regulatory standards governing pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution.

• Optimize global supplier networks, ensuring quality, reliability, and risk mitigation.

• Oversee cold chain logistics and distribution for temperature-sensitive biologics and specialty products.

• Drive improvements in demand planning, inventory optimization, and service level performance.

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for critical raw materials, APIs, and manufacturing inputs.

• Manage relationships with contract manufacturers, logistics providers, and key suppliers.

• Implement supply chain risk management strategies to address geopolitical risks, supply disruptions, and regulatory challenges.

• Monitor KPIs related to cost efficiency, delivery performance, quality, and compliance.

• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to align supply chain with product development and commercialization strategies.

• Provide executive-level reporting on supply chain performance to the COO, CEO, and board.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.

• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

• 15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in global supply chain management within biopharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industries.

• Proven experience managing complex global supply chains with strict regulatory and quality requirements.

• Deep expertise in GMP compliance, cold chain logistics, and pharmaceutical distribution.

• Experience implementing digital supply chain technologies, advanced analytics, and automation solutions.

• Strong understanding of global trade regulations and supply chain risk management.

• Demonstrated success in leading large teams and multi-regional operations.

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing large operational budgets and cost optimization initiatives.

• Experience working with executive leadership and presenting to board-level stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $400,000 – $507,000
