The Senior Vice President – Wealth Management will serve as a senior executive leader responsible for overseeing ultra-high-net-worth client relationships, investment advisory strategy, portfolio management oversight, wealth planning solutions, and regional/global wealth expansion initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with Investment Management, Private Banking, Risk Management, Research, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure exceptional client outcomes and sustainable asset growth.
This is a highly strategic executive leadership position requiring expertise in wealth advisory, investment portfolio management, private banking operations, financial planning, capital markets, and global wealth strategy within complex multinational financial environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wealth Management Strategy & Leadership
- Lead global wealth management strategy across ultra-high-net-worth and institutional client segments.
- Develop and execute scalable wealth advisory frameworks supporting asset growth and client retention.
- Oversee regional and global wealth management operations, ensuring consistency in service excellence.
- Define a long-term investment advisory strategy aligned with global financial market trends.
Client Portfolio & Relationship Management
- Manage and expand relationships with UHNW clients, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Oversee customized investment portfolios aligned with client risk profiles and financial objectives.
- Provide strategic financial advisory across multi-asset investment classes, including equities, bonds, alternatives, and private markets.
- Serve as executive sponsor for key high-value client relationships.
Investment Strategy & Asset Allocation
- Lead strategic asset allocation decisions across diversified global portfolios.
- Collaborate with investment research teams to identify market opportunities and risk-adjusted returns.
- Oversee portfolio performance analysis, rebalancing strategies, and investment optimization initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of investment strategies with macroeconomic trends and client wealth objectives.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with global financial regulations, fiduciary standards, and wealth management governance frameworks.
- Oversee portfolio risk management strategies and client suitability assessments.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on regulatory reporting and advisory standards.
- Maintain strong ethical and fiduciary responsibility across all wealth advisory functions.
Cross-Functional Financial Collaboration
- Partner with Investment Banking, Asset Management, Tax Advisory, and Private Banking teams.
- Provide executive-level insights into global financial markets and wealth trends.
- Support integration of AI-driven portfolio analytics and digital wealth platforms.
- Contribute to enterprise growth strategies across wealth and investment divisions.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
- MBA, CFA, CFP, or advanced financial certifications strongly preferred.
- 15–25+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, investment advisory, or asset management leadership roles.
- Strong background within global financial institutions, private banks, or investment management firms is required.
- Proven experience managing ultra-high-net-worth client portfolios and institutional relationships.
- Deep expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment strategy.
- Strong understanding of global financial markets, tax structures, and wealth planning frameworks.
- Experience leading high-performing wealth advisory teams across multiple regions.
