About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking, to lead large-scale commercial banking operations within a globally recognized financial institution that provides advanced banking solutions to mid-market companies, multinational corporations, and institutional clients. This senior executive role will be responsible for driving commercial lending strategy, strengthening corporate client relationships, and expanding the bank’s commercial portfolio across key industry sectors.

The Senior Vice President will oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial banking clients while leading teams responsible for corporate lending, credit structuring, treasury solutions, and relationship management across multiple regional markets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the bank’s commercial banking growth strategy focused on expanding corporate client relationships and lending portfolios.

• Manage large commercial lending portfolios supporting mid-market companies and multinational corporate clients.

• Structure complex financing solutions, including revolving credit facilities, syndicated loans, and asset-based lending arrangements.

• Strengthen relationships with executive leaders and financial decision-makers within corporate client organizations.

• Collaborate with credit risk teams to evaluate lending opportunities and maintain strong credit portfolio quality.

• Guide the development of treasury management and cash flow optimization solutions for commercial clients.

• Lead initiatives that expand the bank’s presence within high-growth industry sectors.

• Oversee regional commercial banking teams responsible for client relationship management and financial advisory services.

• Ensure commercial banking activities comply with regulatory frameworks and internal risk management policies.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.

• MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced financial credential strongly preferred.

15–20+ years of progressive experience in commercial banking, corporate finance, or institutional lending.

• Minimum 10+ years in senior leadership roles within commercial or corporate banking organizations.

• Proven success managing large commercial loan portfolios and corporate client relationships.

• Strong expertise in credit structuring, commercial lending, and corporate financial advisory services.

• Deep understanding of banking regulations, risk management frameworks, and credit governance policies.

• Experience working with large corporate clients across multiple industry sectors.

• Strong financial analysis capabilities for evaluating complex lending opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $370,000 – $480,000
