The Vice President of Business Development will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, identifying strategic opportunities, and expanding client relationships globally. This role demands a highly strategic, results-driven executive with extensive experience in complex enterprise sales, partnership development, and market expansion.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the business development strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion targets.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities across technology, SaaS, and enterprise services markets.
  • Build and manage a high-performing business development team, providing mentorship, performance management, and career development.
  • Drive new client acquisition, key account management, and enterprise sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and solutions teams to design compelling value propositions for clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to inform strategy.
  • Develop and present business proposals, contracts, and executive-level presentations.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or partnership management, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in enterprise sales, SaaS solutions, cloud services, or technology consulting.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, contract negotiations, and partnership models.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in global market expansion, cross-border client engagement, and multi-stakeholder deal management.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on business development priorities and investment decisions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation Package: $350,000 – $495,000 (base salary + performance bonus + potential equity/incentives)
